The book Ukraine’s National Interests Map, published as part of the 13th Banderivski Chytannia.

This is the first comprehensive and in-depth publication examining Ukraine’s foreign strategy, its relations with leading states and centers of growth, regional leaders, national liberation movements, and political partners through the prism of Ukrainian national interests across various spheres.

“The war has given Ukraine the opportunity to transform itself from a post-colonial object of international politics into a major player participating in the creation of a new world order. We must make full use of this opportunity. Let this book be one of the steps in that direction,” notes Yurii Syrotiuk, initiator of the Banderivski Chytannia and head of the Ukrainian Studies for Strategic Disquisitions Center.

The book includes studies by experts and scholars from various countries, including the United States, France, and Spain, as well as representatives of think tanks, diplomats, and military personnel.

The contributors not only examine the current state and potential of Ukraine’s interaction with various international actors, but also seek to determine the fundamental national interests of Ukraine at both the regional and global levels.

The book’s materials are organized into six sections:

2. Ukraine’s National Interests in Europe
3. Advancing Ukrainian Interests in the Baltic–Black Sea Region
4. Ukraine’s National Interests and the American Continent

6. Establishing and Developing Ukraine’s Relations with the Countries of the Middle East and Africa

Among the authors are well-known scholars and researchers, including Yurii Syrotiuk, Oleksandr Sych, Yurii Oliinyk, Oleh Bahan, Yosyf Sytnyk, Pascal Lassalle, Natalia Butyrska, Maksym Yakovliev, Yevhen Mahda and others.

The book was published by Ukrainian Publishing House with the support of the Kyiv branch of the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists (Banderivtsi).
